Executive Orders 1/22/2021 Part 2

In the second Executive Order of 1/22/2021, it’s all about the money.  The White House even put out a “Fact Sheet” to help “us” understand what this Executive Order means.

Fact Sheet on Executive Order on Economic Relief

Remember when you were dependent upon our parents for that allowance? Without it, there were no books, video games, or bubble gum. You followed THEIR rules because if you didn’t, there wouldn’t be any allowance that week.

The reality is this, Biden is returning us to the Obama plan of a welfare nation. A nation of folks DEPENDANT upon the government for its survival. A Nation controlled by the government that controls the purse strings. If you are dependent on the government for funds and food, what happens if you don’t “follow” the rules?

Among other things, Biden is asking “the Labor Department to consider clarifying that workers who refuse unsafe working conditions can still receive unemployment insurance.” Biden is stating that working during Covid is “unsafe.” As a result, folks should be able to refuse being “forced” to return to work even if that job requires NO interaction with others and is outdoors. Lawn care, for example.

Additionally,  Biden is “calling on Congress to provide additional support to ensure that all Americans, regardless of background, have access to healthy, affordable groceries by extending the 15% Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefit increase, investing $3 billion to help women, infants and children get the food they need, and other key steps. The President is also asking the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to consider taking the following steps to provide nutrition assistance to working families.”  In other words, SNAP for all. Including those that REFUSE to work because it’s “unsafe” to do so.

Finally, Biden “wants Congress authorized emergency increases to SNAP benefits to help address food insecurity during the pandemic. So far, those benefit increases have not been made available to all of the lowest income households. USDA will consider issuing new guidance that would allow states to increase SNAP emergency allotments for those who need it most. This would be the first step to ensuring that an additional 12 million people get enhanced SNAP benefits to keep nutritious food on the table.” “The President’s American Rescue Plan proposes an additional $1,400 per-person payments to ensure that households get the support they need to help pay bills, put food on the table, and support small businesses and their communities.” This is in addition to what has already been dispersed and on the way.

Executive Order on Economic Relief Related To The Covid-19 Pandemic-

1. “All executive departments and agencies (agencies) shall promptly identify actions they can take within existing authorities to address the current economic crisis resulting from the pandemic. Agencies should specifically consider actions that facilitate better use of data and other means to improve access to, reduce unnecessary barriers to, and improve coordination among programs funded in whole or in part by the Federal Government.”

2. “Agencies should take the actions identified in subsection (a) of this section, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, and in doing so should prioritize actions that provide the greatest relief to individuals, families, and small businesses; and to State, local, Tribal, and territorial governments.”

3.Independent agencies, as enumerated in 44 U.S.C. 3502(5), are strongly encouraged to comply with this section.”
